Printer Won't Work
If the printer just prints out blank pages then the obvious check is to ensure you have new inks, or toner, installed and that the safety tape has been removed from the cartridge.
If the printer hasn't been used in a while, the inks may have dried up and the printer heads and nozzles may have become clogged. Be very careful when manually cleaning them, or even better use the maintenance tools on the PC to carry out cleaning on the printer.
If absolutely nothing happens when you print it may be that the printer you are trying to print to hasn't been saved as the 'default' by the computer. To check this go into the Control Panel (under the Start Menu) and open the Printers & Faxes. Right click on the printer you want and ensure the 'Set as Default' is checked.
If still no joy, try downloading the latest printer drivers from the manufacturer website, as it may be that other recent updates to the pc have caused problems.
